This is just messing around to see what its like to have a blog. And I decided that as a theme, and as a Good Thing To Do, I would try to record good stuff that happens. Ordinary good stuff, not monumental good stuff, although I won’t complain if mo
numental good stuff happens too.
I reckon that the world is much fuller of good things than we realise, and that the more you notice them, the better.
Inspired by:
- A talk at Greenbelt by John Davies about “Reading the Everyday” and being creative with ordinary things.
- Richard Rohr’s book “Everything belongs“. One piece of advice I particularly liked was to always find “the magic in the moment”
- A general feeling that thinking about positive things makes you a positive person which in turn makes positive things more likely to happen to you
I love your blog and the theme of “good stuff.” I just published a book called FOCUS ON THE GOOD STUFF (www.focusonthegoodstuff.com). We are clearly on the same page! Keep up the GOOD work!
With Appreciation,
Mike Robbins
